Darplee ("we", "Darplee", the "Service") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we process when you use our website and our Amazon monitoring platform, for which purposes and with what safeguards, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
1. Data controller
The data controller is Darplee S.r.l., registered at Via Cancelliera n. 8/A, 00041 Albano Laziale (RM), Italy, VAT 18601351002. For any request, email hello@darplee.com.
2. Data we collect
Account data
Name, email address, password (stored encrypted), language and preferences, and billing details required to activate your subscription.
Your Amazon account data (via authorization)
When you connect your Seller Account, through Amazon's official APIs (Selling Partner API) we process data about your listings, orders, sales, advertising costs, inventory and ranking, solely to provide the monitoring service.
Technical and usage data
IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, access logs and diagnostics, collected to ensure the security and operation of the service.
Payment data
Payments are handled by an external payment processor: we do not store your full card details on our systems.

4. Data from Amazon
Data obtained via the Amazon Selling Partner API is used solely to provide you with the monitoring and analytics service. We do not sell this data and do not share it with third parties except to deliver the service. Processing complies with the Amazon Acceptable Use Policy and Data Protection Policy. You can revoke authorization at any time from your account settings or from Amazon Seller Central.

5. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal obligations (e.g. billing). Upon account closure, data from Amazon is deleted or anonymized within the timeframes set by Amazon's policies; other data within [X months], unless legal retention applies.
6. Sharing with third parties
We may share data with providers who support service delivery (sub-processors), e.g. hosting [hosting provider], payment processor [provider], email and support tools. All providers are bound by data processing agreements. We do not sell your personal data.
7. Transfers outside the EU
Where some providers process data outside the European Economic Area, this occurs under appropriate safeguards (e.g. the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses).
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to withdraw consent at any time (Arts. 15-22 GDPR). To exercise these rights, email hello@darplee.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Cookies
We use technical cookies necessary for the site to work (e.g. login session and language preference). Any analytics or marketing cookies are only enabled with your consent.
10. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures (password encryption, HTTPS connections, access controls) to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss or disclosure.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will notify you of material changes. The date at the top indicates the latest revision.
